Wk 9 — Art Activity — Student Choice, Part 2

The first picture is how my painting came out. The bottom picture is what I was trying to recreate. I don’t think I did horrible but at the same time I’m not exactly sure why I chose to paint faces because I don’t even know how to draw faces. I think I am better at painting a free hand picture and doing whatever comes to my mind instead of trying to copy something. My piece is weak due to the fact that I chose a complex photo and my OCD bugging because they’re not the exact same. If I could redo this project, I would definitely not try to follow something detail for detail until I’m actually able to draw it before painting it.

This was my practice run before I did the real deal. It was supposed to be a human body and then I accidentally spazzed out and got black somewhere I didn’t want it so I went with a black cat instead.
