I liked my first piece because it was painting and I love to paint. I think it looks like the actual image a little bit more than the second since it does have the details for the faces and the water in the background. One of my classmates told me they liked how I did the water in the background of the painting because it looks like the night sky. LOL. It was supposed to be the ocean but I appreciate it anyways! This second time I tried to use a different media, I used procreate. I got the idea from Sophia one of the students I critiqued last week. Even though my first draft was alright and not the best, I still would choose that one over the second piece because again it has those small details that, I think, are necessary to give the image a little bit of life.
